Klean Kanteen expands product line with new Accessories and Insulated Reflect for 2017
CHICO, Calif. (Jan. 9, 2017) – With a new 2017 collection, Klean Kanteen continues to break ground with solutions to single use waste. Highlights of the new line include food-grade silicone and stainless steel straws, a new insulated tumbler straw lid set, a plant-based brush set and Insulated Reflect bottle.
“A certified B Corporation and 1% for the Planet member, Klean Kanteen is committed to creating environmentally friendly products that reduce single use waste and last a lifetime,” said Phil Notheis, Klean Kanteen director of product. “Every day Americans throw away 500 million plastic straws. Expanding our Accessories collection to include stainless steel straws, a new straw lid, and natural, plant-based brushes for easy cleaning just made sense.”
The convenient new Klean Straws and Tumbler Straw Lids can be tossed in a bag or purse for on-the-go use. Dishwasher friendly and sold with a special cleaning brush, the reusable straws make it easy to make the switch from conventional, landfill-bound plastic straws. The two-piece food-grade silicone and stainless steel straws features a safe, flexible silicone straw tip.
Straws will be available in April, in packs of four, with all black or multi-colored tip options, and include a natural palm fiber straw brush for easy cleaning (MSRP $9.95). A new three-piece straw-compatible, spill-resistant, press-fit tumbler and pint lid, single straw and straw brush (MSRP $9.95) will also be available.
Beautiful in its simplicity and deliberate in its design, Klean’s new 20 oz. Insulated Reflect (MSRP $40.95) is crafted using only three materials: sustainably harvested bamboo, food grade silicone and stainless steel. This stylish addition to the insulated line has a laser etched logo — with no paint nor plastic. A large 1.75-inch opening makes for easy pouring and the double-wall insulation makes this ideal for keeping beverages, including water and kombucha, cold for up to 24 hours and iced for up to 40 hours.
“The mission behind all of our accessories is simple: to help Klean Kanteen products perform at their best, to extend their usable life and to keep our fans happy, healthy and hydrated,” said Jim Osgood, Klean Kanteen CEO. “Our new Accessories and new Insulated Reflect bottle all deliver on that promise.”
Preview these new products at Klean Kanteen’s booth (#3009) at Outdoor Retailer in Salt Lake City, January 10-12, 2017.
