New E-Bikes from Raleigh Focus on Fun

KENT, Wash. (July 2, 2018) – Raleigh, the storied bike brand founded in 1887, continues to innovate with two new pedal assist e-bikes for 2018. The Kodiak Pro iE is a rugged e-moutain bike with best in class components at an incredible value, while the Venture iE is built with comfort in mind.

“The Kodiak Pro iE adds true performance to our mountain bike lineup,” said Larry Pizzi, President at Raleigh Electric. “On the other side of the spectrum, the Venture iE is perfect for cruising in comfort. While these bikes are for different kinds of riders, like the rest of our line, they combine fun, functionality and affordability.”

The Kodiak Pro iE e-MTB features an e-bike specific drivetrain from SRAM, a burly RockShox Pike fork and a Bosch Performance CX motor. The aluminum frame is outfitted with 27.5 inch wheels, an e-MTB specific 8-speed drivetrain and Magura’s MT7 four piston hydraulic disc brakes to provide confidence over any kind of terrain. The Kodiak Pro retails for $4,999.99.

The Venture iE has a seat tube mounted battery for a more balanced feel and 27.5 inch alloy wheels with Schwalbe Supermoto X plus size tires for more control. With an aluminum frame, state of the art Bosch Active Line motor and Shimano drivetrain, the Venture iE is an all-purpose cruiser or commuter bike. The Venture iE retails for $2,399.00.
