Diamondback Launches Online Bike Customization Tool
KENT, Wash. (Nov. 17, 2016) — Diamondback Bicycles is pleased to introduce an online bike building tool that allows customers to configure and order their ideal ride. Each bike will be assembled in a custom studio at the Diamondback headquarters in Kent, Washington. The tool is now available for customers to create their own customized version of Diamondback’s radical new Andean triathlon bike, with other bikes in the lineup soon to follow.
“We’ve been overwhelmed by the positive response to our triathlon and time trial bikes,” said Steve Westover, marketing director at Diamondback. “These bikes have been race tested and proven at competitions around the world. Our new customization tool will make the buying process easier than ever before, allowing riders to choose everything from their wheelset to their bar tape color.”
In addition to the Andean, Diamondback will incorporate the online bike customization tool for its leading mountain and road bikes in 2017. All bikes will be available with thousands of different build combinations, with choices of grouppo, wheelset, bars, seat, bar tape and wheel decal colors.
Custom Andeans start at $3,999.99.
