GERBER LAUNCHES VERSAFIX PRO: AN INNOVATIVE FIXED BLADE/MACHETE HYBRID
PORTLAND, OREGON (January 23rd, 2018) – GERBER, an industry-leading manufacturer of knives and multi-tools, announced today the launch of a new multi-purpose fixed blade/machete hybrid: the Versafix Pro . The first look at the innovative blade comes at SHOT Show 2019 in Las Vegas, Nevada, and will be available at retail and gerbergear.com on February 6th, 2019. MSRP for the Versafix Pro is $46.00.

Packed with smart design, the Versafix Pro is a compact machete that swings heavy with features. The weight-forward, skeletonized blade design gives swift results with less effort and boasts 3 essential functions: chop, cut, baton. Forward jimping on the top of the blade gives grip when batoning and full tang construction offers durability and added strength. The high durometer handle means a comfortable grip with less fatigue and hot spots. Photochemical etching delivers a textured blade for a distinct aesthetic that stands out.
The comprehensive tool comes equipped with a slender, multi-mount sheath that has a unique push tab release for seamless deployment and re-sheathing w/ one hand. The positive retention, click-in sheath ensures secure storage when moving through dense terrain.
The Versafix Pro is available in two colors: Warm Red [see above] and Black + Grey [see below].
