Haibike Introduces World’s First Kid’s eBike
Simi Valley, Calif. (December 20, 2016) – Haibike designs the first eBike specifically for youth riders. The new SDURO HardFour 4.0 is a high performance, pedal-assist, e-mountain bike, featuring 24-inch wheels for riders as young as eight-years-old.
The HardFour features the same technology and innovation of Haibike’s award-winning SDURO HardSeven ePerformance bike, built to a smaller scale for younger riders.
“It’s important to encourage kids to get outside and be active,” says Ken Miner, Haibike’s U.S. Director of Sales. “The HardFour will help kids increase their strength and stamina, while having fun at the same time. Now, kids can keep up and stay healthy too.”
To ensure a safe yet thrilling ride, the 500-watt Yamaha motor is governed to a top speed of 12 m.p.h. The HardFour features a Shimano 9-speed drivetrain, SR Suntour suspension lockout fork, hydraulic disc brakes, and Schwalbe tires.
The SDURO HardFour 4.0 is available at certified Haibike dealers. MSRP $2,599.99.
