Austin, Texas (January 10, 2018) — YETI, a leading premium outdoor brand, announces brand new, over-engineered offerings to join its quality line of products. Today, the Austin, Texas-based brand reveals a new product category, expands its popular portable cooler line, and showcases an all-purpose carryall. The Hondo™ Base Camp Chair is durable and built for ultimate outdoor comfort. The Hopper BackFlip™ 24 is a leakproof, tough-as-nails, carry-the-day-on-your-back cooler designed to go further. The Camino™ Carryall 35 is the perfect here-to-there, open top tote-style bag for any and every day.

“Our founding principle is to design products that solve current frustrations with durability and performance,” says YETI CEO, Matt Reintjes. “It all started with the Tundra, and now we’re offering up solutions for comfort and durability in outdoor living. We continue to listen to our consumers and develop products that outdoor enthusiasts require before, during, and after their adventures.”

After years of research, testing, and development, the Hondo Base Camp Chair lands YETI in a new product category: outdoor living. It’s built to take a load off after a long day and is the ideal companion for a perfectly packed Tundra. Inspired by fellow wilderness-tested gear – like the fabric used in climbing harnesses, and the aluminum used in premium mountain bikes – the Hondo features a DoubleBarrel™ Frame reinforced with two layers of age-hardened aluminum alloy, and EasyBreathe™ Mesh with FlexGrid™ Technology that eliminates pressure points for optimum comfort.

The Hopper BackFlip 24 fuses the category leading durability and insulation properties of the original Hopper® line with a new, even more convenient-to-carry design. It is YETI’s first cooler engineered to carry as a backpack, integrating the best technology of both worlds. Its ergonomic shape is thoughtfully constructed to efficiently distribute weight, and it is equipped with comfortable shoulder straps for those off-the-beaten-path adventures.

The Camino Carryall 35 is made from the same waterproof, ultra-durable, and easy-to-clean material as the Panga™ Submersible Duffel. The Camino will be available exclusively on yeti.com and at the YETI Flagship store in Austin, Texas this Spring for $149.99 in Storm Gray, Sky Blue, and Everglade Sand.

The Hondo Base Camp Chair will be available exclusively on yeti.com and at the YETI Flagship store in Austin, Texas this Spring for $299.99 in Charcoal. A carrying bag and gear bag – perfect for phones, keys, wallets, etc. – will be sold separately.

The Hopper BackFlip 24 will be available on yeti.com and through authorized dealers this Spring for $299.99 in YETI’s Fog Gray color.

Additional new products include SideKick™ Dry, Rambler 10 oz. Wine Tumbler, new Rambler DuraCoat colors White and Sky Blue, Limited Edition Coral in select Ramblers and Tundras, and a variety of new hats and apparel. Details on all new Spring 2018 products are available on yeti.com.
