Upgrade Your Shoes with Vibram’s Sole Factor at Outdoor Retailer
Vibram Aligns with The Conservation Alliance in Support of Public Lands
Vibram®, the worldwide leader in high-performance soles and the creator of the Vibram FiveFingers® articulated toe shoe, announces today that proceeds from its regional Sole Factor Tour stop in Denver during Outdoor Retailer will be presented to The Conservation Alliance.
“We want to contribute in conjunction with our community, and raising funds with Vibram’s Sole Factor Tour in Denver during Outdoor Retailer allows us that forum,” said Allon Cohne, chief marketing officer of Vibram Corporation. “Protection of wild spaces is a community effort and our mobile cobbler units allow us to get involved in a unique way by providing a service to consumers by upgrading their footwear while collecting funds for our partners.”
Beginning Monday, July 23, 2018, Vibram’s Sole Factor will be set-up outside the Colorado Convention Center on the intersection of Welton and 14th streets. Operating hours are as follows:
Monday, July 23 – Tuesday, July 24: 11am-7pm
Wednesday, July 25: 11am-3pm
Thursday, July 26: 10am-1pm
For a donation of only $25, outdoor retailers can upgrade a pair of shoes through Vibram’s Sole Factor experience. The second annual North American Sole Factor Tour kicked off in April offering customers a chance to upgrade their favorite footwear with a new Vibram sole.
“We are excited to partner with Vibram on this promotion,” states John Sterling, executive director for The Conservation Alliance. “Since 1989, The Conservation Alliance has directed funding to community-based campaigns to protect threatened wild habitat, preferably where outdoor enthusiasts recreate. For 2018, our plan is to distribute upwards of $1.9 million to grassroots conservation groups throughout North America and this wouldn’t be possible without the support of partners like Vibram.”
Currently just past the halfway point of the 2018 Sole Factor Tour, the Tour stops in Denver this weekend prior to heading east later this month. In conjunction with its presence at Outdoor Retailer in Denver next week, Vibram will add proceeds collected from its Sole Factor tour dates this week at New Belgium Brewing in Fort Collins, Colorado, in the cumulative donation scheduled for The Conservation Alliance.
