Chipotle Powers Tough Mudder Nation
The restaurant brand joins roster of Tough Mudder partners that includes, Nexcare™, Soap & Glory, CELSIUS, Navy Federal Credit Union, MuscleTech, EVERY MAN JACK, Alanic, ViewSPORT and ACE™ Brand.
BROOKLYN, N.Y. – April 29, 2019 –Tough Mudder, the global fitness and active lifestyle brand, kicked off its 2019 event season with the recent Tough Mudder Los Angeles event. Over 8,000 participants tackled the obstacle course and were then treated to a revamped Tough Mudder Village Festival with more food, fun and games than ever.
As the official restaurant partner for North American Tough Mudder events, Chipotle is hosting an obstacle in the Mudder Village Festival, with discounts awarded as prizes. Together, Tough Mudder and Chipotle are also re-launching a Tough Mudder nutrition guide, promoting real food for real athletes.
Other activations at all 2019 North American Tough Mudder events include:
ACE™ and Nexcare™, Official hosts of the “Event Prep Zone”, the brands offer support braces and bandages to help participants on event day and beyond.
CELSIUS – Returning as the official energy drink, CELSIUS will provide a warm up zone featuring fitness bikes and activities to help prepare participants for the event.
Soap & Glory and EVERY MAN JACK – As the official women’s and men’s care partners, respectively, the brands will provide new rinse stations complete with body wash and shampoo, allowing participants to rinse away the mud before taking part in all of the fun of the Village Festival.
Alanic and ViewSPORT – Tough Mudder’s official apparel partner, Alanic, has teamed up with ViewSPORT, the official apparel technology partner, to provide finishers and staff with functional t-shirts designed to live up to all the stresses of training and event day.
MuscleTech – The official protein powder of Tough Mudder, MuscleTech will offer recovery drinks at the finish line of all events.
Navy Federal Credit Union – Tough Mudder’s official military credit union partner will be hosting fun lawn games throughout events.
