For Immediate Release

CARBONDALE, Colo. (Jan. 31, 2019) – Backbone Media, the country’s leading active lifestyle media agency, is pleased to announce the addition of two new marketing professionals to its growing team, as well as the promotion of three associates.

Paige Bradford and Ryan Evans recently joined Backbone’s Denver office. Bradford was hired as a Senior Public Relations Manager and Evans was brought on as a Media Planner.

Prior to Backbone, Bradford was a brand manager for Noosa Yoghurt for more than five years. At Noosa, she worked with the company’s marketing team to manage its public relations program and contributed to national marketing and social media campaigns. In her new position, Bradford will leverage her experience for Backbone’s expanding food and beverage clients, including New Belgium Brewing Company. She is an alumna of the University of Northern Colorado and resides in Denver with her husband and son.

Evans is a former Navy Seal and joins Backbone from The North Face, where he was a Senior Innovation Project Manager. While at The North Face, Evans executed product innovation strategy across footwear and apparel categories, studied trends in outdoor participation and consumer behavior and explored research around human connection to time spent outdoors. In addition to his service in the United States Navy, Evans holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Colorado-Boulder and earned an MBA from the University of California’s Haas School of Business. He has relocated to Denver with his wife and family.

In addition to its recent hires, Backbone has promoted Christine Carter and Bryson Ross to Associate PR Directors and Mel Haupt to Associate Media Director. In their new roles, Carter, Ross and Haupt will support the agency’s growing portfolio of more than 60 clients.

“We’re fortunate that our company culture and world-class clients help us recruit some of the best talent on the market,” said Backbone Media founder Penn Newhard. “Likewise, Christine, Bryson and Mel have made significant contributions to our agency’s success, serving as mentors to staff and going above and beyond for our client partners. We’re excited to further their careers at Backbone.”
